No diagnosis or treatment

The tools cannot diagnose a sleep disorder, determine whether a baby is healthy, prescribe a schedule, advise on feeding, or assess breathing, growth, development, or medication.

Wake windows are estimates

Wake-window and nap-count ranges are practical heuristics, not official medical requirements. Total sleep ranges are population-level recommendations and are not a diagnosis for an individual child.

Seek professional help

Contact your child's clinician for persistent sleep concerns, feeding problems, unusual sleepiness, breathing or color changes, poor growth, or any concern about health or safety. Seek emergency help for an emergency.
